We want to inform our admissions decisions with a deep understanding of each candidate. In addition, we want to make sure that if you are accepted, you will be assigned to the team in which you will thrive. To aid this effort we ask that all students prepare the following documents:

What motivates you? We want to know why you want to build a high impact start-up. (250 word limit)

Each class will consist of three teams: operations, tech, and sales. Which one are you most interested in and why? (150 word limit)

When filling out the application please be as honest and transparent as possible. We are looking for candidates who have the discipline and dedication it takes to launch a real company. Please understand that we cannot take all of even the most qualified candidates, so all decisions will be final.

Is this program remote or in-person?
This is a remote program where students will learn how to work in distributed teams, as is the standard for modern start-ups.
How much does this program cost?
The program costs $7,500. This cost is all inclusive. There is no application fee.
How long does this program last?
The formal program is 6 weeks, but we are building real businesses which often have internships and even equity opportunities for students months or even years down the road.
How impactful is this on my child’s college admissions?
Admission into this program is not a guarantee of admission into Dartmouth. While no one can guarantee you admission into your dream school, this program is designed in conjunction with former admissions officers to make sure that we maximize the impact this program has on your student’s admissions portfolio.
